Nostalgic Brain Games is a small, quiet corner of the web for people who enjoy a good puzzle at a comfortable pace. It is the companion site to the Nostalgic Brain Games for Seniors book series, written and produced under the pen name Akiko.
Everything here follows three rules: puzzles are set in genuinely large print; every puzzle is machine-verified before it is published (word placements re-scanned, sudoku solutions proven unique); and the site asks nothing of its visitors — no accounts, no sign-ups, no newsletters, no tracking.
The puzzles themselves are produced with computer assistance, and we say so openly: the generation and checking process is described in How Our Puzzles Are Made.
New puzzles appear daily and are generated a month in advance, so the coffee-time puzzle is always waiting.
